The beautiful new look from Chord Electronics. Each piece is made from solid billet Aluminium, precision machined and hand polished to a high gloss. This is then electroplated with nickel for a durable and highly reflective finish.
Compared to the standard anodized satin casework, the nickel plating gives improved skin conductivity, hence improved shielding and a subtle improvement in noise performance. This will be most noticeable in products such as DAC64 and Symphonic, which deal with low level signals.
All Chord Choral Series products – Blu, DAC64, Symphonic, Prima, Mezzo 50, Mezzo 140 and Choral Series Rack - are available with ‘Brilliant’ finish as a cost option.
