The Future for Hi-Fi is looking Black, fortunately!
“Meet Jet Black” the new finish from Chord Electronics.
Each unit is milled from a solid piece of billet aluminium and then separately hand polished to mirror standard. The surface of the aluminium is then opened with a very fine acid etch process and black dye is then inserted into the pores of the material. They are then closed by a special process trapping the dye deep within the structure of the metal.
This amazing process gives a deep and lustrous black finish that is simply unrivalled by paint or lacquer finishes.
This new finish compares with the very latest ceramic and Jet jewellery. |
