2go firmware (v1.5.7) now available

We’ve released new 2go firmware which is available to download and install via the Gofigure app. 

To install: 

Open the Gofigure app and select your device, ensuring it is connected to an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) which is also the same network as the smartphone or tablet running Gofigure. Note: you can check this by visiting the Wi-Fi settings page.

Remove any Micro SD cards previously installed and connect your device to a suitable charger, ensuring the ‘charge status’ LED displays a solid white light.
Navigate to the ‘Settings’ tab. If you are on iOS device select ‘Device Settings’ or, if you are on an Android device, select ‘Firmware Update’. Following this, select the ‘Update firmware’ button. The update should become available and on-screen instructions will appear. To proceed with the update select ‘Yes’. The app will automatically close on iOS and a loading screen will appear on Android.
Important: Once an update has been initiated, the ‘2go status’ LED will begin flashing red, blue, and then green, on a repeating cycle. This indicates that the device is downloading and installing the update. During this process, you must leave the device undisturbed, for a minimum of 10 minutes and not disconnect the power, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet cable. When the update procedure is near the end, 2go will automatically restart. This may happen a few times.
Once the charging status LED has returned to white and the network status LED has returned to blue when using Wi-Fi, or green when connected via Ethernet, 2go is updated. At this point, we recommend power-cycling the device (turning off and on).
Following the update, if the device does not appear as a DNLA renderer or server then please perform a reboot.
