The SPM 14000 MkII mono power amplifier is the finest amplifier we have ever built. Our flagship amp and the most powerful model in the portfolio, the SPM 14000 MkII offers sensational performance and showcases our proprietary technologies at their very best. Phenomenally powerful, it offers an incredible 1,000 watts of power into an 8 ohm load, 2kW into 4 ohms and can exceed 2,800 into 2 ohms; this uncompromising amplifier is truly capable of driving even the most demanding loads with unflinching authority.
The 75kg behemoth features our range-topping, latest-generation 12kW-capable power supply, a self-monitoring self-contained unit giving massive, effortless reserves of energy and incredibly low distortion. The amp contains 64 proprietary MOSFET output devices and the outward signal path is suitably devoid of sound-degrading components.
The SPM 14000 MkII main amplifier section is a class-A/B sliding-bias design that operates in class-A in everyday use for the ultimate performance, only shifting into class-B in the most challenging situations. Of course, no flagship amplifier would be complete without a suitably luxurious chassis and the SPM 14000 MkII is, perhaps, the best example of our stunning machined-aluminium casework and Integra leg system.
