Pushing performance in Dubai
We have just returned from an incredible week at one of the world’s most iconic locations: Atlantis The Palm, Dubai.
It was a privilege to be there alongside our pals at YG Acoustics for a truly special launch event hosted by our exclusive distributor, Raw Music Store. When you combine this level of engineering with a venue this majestic, the expectations are high and the team absolutely delivered.
Our goal for the event was to create playback systems that completely disappeared, leaving only the music. To do this, we curated two distinct listening rooms, each designed to push the boundaries of sonic transparency.
Room 1: the definition of synergy
In the first room, we focused on simplicity and performance. We paired the exquisite YG Acoustics Carmel 3 loudspeakers with our ULTIMA INTEGRATED amplifier.
To ensure the analogue front end matched the rest of the chain, we used the new ULTIMA PHONOSTAGE. The result was a system that offered incredible insight and musicality, a masterclass in how much performance can be achieved from a streamlined, integrated se-up.
Room 2: The powerhouse
If Room 1 was about elegance, Room 2 was about unadulterated power and scale. We pulled out all the stops to drive the massive YG Acoustics Titan.

On the digital side, we also utilised the Quartet upscaler paired with the DAVE DAC to ensure the highest possible resolution. To guarantee an uncompromising signal path, everything was wired with Siltech cabling.
Our Sales Director Colin was on the ground and reported that the sound in that room was visceral. The headroom felt limitless and the transparency was unlike anything we have heard recently. It was truly a special system, and frankly, one we never wanted to switch off.
